This could lead to a new song . . .
All day long they work so hard 'til the sun is going down
Working on the farms and fields and wearing
Wearing a frown
You hear them moaning their lives away
Then you hear somebody say:
"That's the sound of the men working on the peach gang
That's the sound of the men working on the peach gang"

Seems like a pretty elegant solution to me.
It has several things going for it.
First those coming out of prison have issues getting employment in the first place, this solves it.
Second it debunks the MYTH that the illegals are "only doing jobs American citizens won't", because those jobs WERE done by citizens before the huge influx of illegals.
Third it takes away the incentive to come here illegally(as the supporters claim) by ending one of the areas of employment.
Fourth it will insure that at least minimum wage will be paid for these types of jobs, as even a prison parole is NOT going to work for less.
